The Young Economists’ Policy Initiative (YEPI) is a competition for students to practice their roles as future economic leaders and policy makers. The YEPI seeks to promulgate awareness, enhance critical thinking, and foster active participation in light of recent events and relevant issues affecting society. Going beyond student research, the competition aims to apply what have been learned in the academe and in the conventions into practice, in a way where they can play themselves in the shoes of our current policy makers.
